Workshop Notebook

Questions about the notebook policy

If something written on this page does not sit right with you, write to me and we will review it. The notebook is a personal log by Mischi Alexandru, not a store or a service workshop, so questions about the site policy are answered through the same channels I use for everything else.

Privacy in this notebook: what data is stored and how to request that it be deleted

If you write through the contact form, you leave your name, your email, and the message. Nothing more. Here I explain what I do with that, what the server stores on its own, and how to request access, correction, or deletion. No runaround and no hidden fine print.

Data that arrives from the form

When you fill out the form on the contact page, the fields you enter are recorded: name, email address, phone if you write it, and the text of the message. That information is used only to read your inquiry and reply to you. It is not used to build a commercial profile, it is not sold to third parties, and it is not used to send you emails you did not request. If you prefer not to leave data through the form, you can write directly to info@mischiealexandru.com or call +54 11 5533-5754.

Technical data and cookies

As on almost any site, the hosting server logs basic technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of the visit, and pages viewed. This is used to keep the site working and to detect errors or abuse. Measurement cookies may also be enabled to see which posts are read the most. You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings; the site will keep working, although some things may behave differently.

External services involved

To keep the site online, I work with a hosting provider and analytics tools. The contact form may go through an email delivery or form management service. Those providers process the data only to carry out that task and are subject to their own policies. I do not share your message with third parties for advertising or for purposes unrelated to replying to you. If a new service that touches personal data is added at some point, it will be announced on this same page.

How long information is kept

Form messages are kept for as long as they are useful for the conversation and for a reasonable period afterward, in case the thread needs to be picked up again. Technical server logs are stored according to what the hosting provider specifies, usually for limited periods. When they are no longer needed, they are deleted. If you want me to delete your message before that period, write to me and I will do it.

Your rights over your data

You can request access to the data I have about you, ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong, ask for it to be deleted, request a copy in a portable format, or withdraw the consent you gave when writing. You can also object to it being used for analytics. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@mischiealexandru.com stating what you want to do. If the request falls under European regulations (GDPR) or California regulations (CCPA), it is handled under those same criteria. There is no cost for making the request.

Contact for privacy matters

Inquiries about personal data are answered by email at info@mischiealexandru.com or by phone at +54 11 5533-5754. The mailing address is Av. Corrientes 1386, Piso 8, Oficina 802, Edificio Tornquist, C1043 Buenos Aires, Argentina. Last updated for this policy: April 2025.

What this site does not do

There are no promises of results, invented endorsements, other people's brands used as our own, or false urgency to get you to write. There is also no official affiliation with tool manufacturers or brands that may be mentioned in the workshop notes. What is published are real processes told directly: what worked, what went wrong, and what it cost. If anything in this policy is unclear to you, ask before leaving your data.
